BMS project topics

35 topics for a BMS final year project. A BMS final-year (TYBMS) blackbook is a research study in your specialisation: marketing, finance or human resources. These topics are narrow enough to survey 50 to 100 people yourself and to finish in a semester.

How to choose your BMS topic

  1. Pick a topic where you can reach 50 to 100 respondents yourself: classmates, your building, shopkeepers on one street.
  2. Narrow it with a place and a group. "Consumer behaviour" is a subject; "online grocery buying among working women in Thane" is a topic.
  3. Write three objectives before you commit. If you cannot, the topic is still too wide.
  4. Check that published studies exist for your literature review. A Google Scholar search of the topic should return at least ten.

Questions

How do I choose a BMS black book project topic?

Start from your specialisation, then narrow by a place and a group you can actually survey. Write three objectives; if they come easily and you can list ten published studies on the subject, the topic will carry a full report.

Can I take a topic from another specialisation?

Most colleges expect the topic to match your specialisation, because the viva is taken by faculty from it. Ask your guide before choosing across specialisations.
