Refund Policy

In short: where your blackbook or project report is written before you pay, you read it first, and the payment that unlocks it is not refunded except where something went wrong on our side. Where you pay first, you are refunded if we cannot write it.

1. Blackbooks and project reports written by BlackBook AI

You read it before you pay. When writing is free, your document is written in full first. You can open it, read its opening chapter and see every chapter and page it has before paying anything. Paying unlocks the whole document, editing, and its PDF and Word downloads. If you do not want it, do not pay: nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.

Because you have seen the document before paying, the payment is not refundable once the document is unlocked. We will still refund you in full in these cases:

Charged twice. If you were charged more than once for the same document, the extra payment is returned in full. We check for this ourselves, but tell us if you see it.
Paid, but not unlocked. If your payment went through and the document is still locked, tell us. It is normally fixed within a few hours; if we cannot unlock it within 48 hours, the payment is refunded.
Downloads do not work. If the PDF or Word file cannot be produced or will not open, and we cannot fix it within 48 hours of you telling us.
Paid first, and it was not written. Where payment is taken before writing (for example once the free writes on an account are used), and we cannot write your document, the payment is refunded.

We do not refund because the project was cancelled, the topic changed, your guide asked for changes, or the document needs editing. It is a draft for you to edit, and the editor is there for that. A discount or referral code that was not entered before paying cannot be applied afterwards.

2. Project Store purchases

Projects in the store are digital files, and a sale is final once the project is unlocked. We refund a store purchase if you tell us within 3 days and one of these is true:

Not delivered: a technical error stops you opening the document or its source code link.
Not as described: the project is plainly different from its listing.
Corrupted files: the PDF, Word file or source code archive is corrupted and a working copy is not provided within 48 hours.

3. How to ask

Reply to your payment receipt email, write to support@blackbook.study, or message us on WhatsApp at +91 91525 52266. Send the email address of your account and the payment ID from your receipt. For a blackbook or project report, write within 7 days of paying.

4. How a refund is paid

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, through Razorpay, and usually arrive within 5 to 7 working days. A failed payment that was debited from your bank is returned by your bank on its own, usually within the same time; we have not received that money. Referral rewards earned on a refunded payment are cancelled.
