About BlackBook

BlackBook (blackbook.study) is an Indian platform that helps final-year students finish their project report. It has two parts: an AI Blackbook Maker that writes the complete report from your project details, and a Project Store where students buy and sell verified projects with source code.

Why we built it

Every year, students across India, in engineering, IT, commerce, management, law, science, arts, architecture and even Class 10 and 12, spend weeks formatting a report whose structure their stream has already fixed: front matter, a set chapter order and the right tables and diagrams. That time is better spent on the project itself and on preparing for the viva.

Good finished projects, meanwhile, are graded once and forgotten. The store lets their authors earn from them and gives the next batch of students a real reference.

Who built it

BlackBook was started in Mumbai in January 2026 by Vivek Singh, a University of Mumbai graduate who works as a junior software engineer. He built it for students, including those who have left their blackbook to the last few weeks, so that the months a properly formatted blackbook can take go into studies and exams instead.

He also writes the guides on this site, and reads the messages sent through Contact.

What we do

  • AI Blackbook Maker: every chapter in the structure your stream uses, plus cover page and front matter, written by BlackBook AI, our engine for Indian college formats.
  • Editor: A4 page layout, Ask AI on any text, diagram or chart, PDF preview, and PDF and Word downloads laid out alike.
  • Project Store: working projects with their report, source code, setup steps and a recording of them running, reviewed before listing, with a 10-page free preview; sellers keep 70% of every sale.
  • Guides: free, practical guides to the blackbook format and every chapter.

What we stand for

  • Sellers are paid fairly: a fixed 70% share, tracked in a ledger and paid to their UPI ID.
  • Work is protected: files sit in private storage, previews are limited, and every sold copy is watermarked with the buyer's identity.
  • Every upload is reviewed: projects are checked by our team before they are listed.
  • Your report is your responsibility: AI gives you a strong first draft; read it, make it accurate to your project and be ready to explain it.
