MSBTE Capstone Project Report Format (K Scheme)
The MSBTE Capstone Project (K scheme) report has 7 chapters, Introduction to Conclusion, after the title page, certificate, acknowledgement and abstract. This is the structure from MSBTE’s K-scheme Capstone Project curriculum (course 316004, approved 04/09/2025), and BlackBook writes your report in exactly this format.
The format is chosen for you with the course. Last checked against its source on 18 October 2026.

What you add yourself
Certificate, one for each of you
The board’s certificate names one student, so one is printed for each member of the group. Write your examination seat number in the blank, and get it signed by your internal guide, the external examiner if there is one, and the head of department with the department stamp. If your polytechnic hands out its own printed certificate with the MSBTE and institute logos, use that one.
Title page signatures
The head of department, the principal, your internal guide and the external examiner sign the title page.
Project diary
The board asks every student to keep a weekly or daily project diary, checked by the guide each week. It is your own record of the work and is kept separately; we do not write it.
Chapter 6: your screenshots
Each screen is described, with the place for your own screenshot and its figure caption.
Soft copy of the code or working model
The board asks for one hard copy and one soft copy of the report, with a soft copy of the project code or the working model.
Signatures and the college seal
The certificate, the declaration and any approval sheet are signed by you, your guide, the head of department and the examiners, and stamped by the college. Print the page and get it signed; a typed name is not a signature.
Your college’s own certificate
Many colleges issue the certificate on their letterhead or in a fixed wording. Where yours does, use that page in place of ours.
Screenshots of your working project
Only you can take them. The blackbook marks where each one goes, with its caption.
Your own data and results
Survey responses, test results and readings must be the ones you collected. Sample values are marked for you to replace.
The sources you cite
A literature review cites real, published papers: the ones you name when you start, or ones found for your topic, each with its DOI. Read the ones you keep. Anywhere else a source belongs is marked [Add citation]; we never invent one.
Plagiarism report, if your college asks for one
It is produced by the college’s own checker on your final file, and usually attached at the end.
Company or internship certificate, if the project was done at one
It comes from the company, on its letterhead.
Research paper and publication certificate, if your college asks for one
They are yours: the published paper and the certificate from the journal or conference.
