Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how BlackBook uses cookies and similar technologies to recognize you when you visit our website and use our application.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.

How do we use cookies?

We do not use advertising cookies or marketing pixels. We use two kinds of first-party cookies and local storage:

  • Essential: Supabase Auth sets session cookies (sb-…) that keep you signed in and let our servers verify who you are. The site cannot work without them.
  • Analytics: PostHog stores an identifier (ph_…) so we can count visits and see which features are used, to improve them. Sentry may record a sample of sessions to help us reproduce errors.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics storage does not affect the service; blocking the essential session cookies means you cannot sign in. See our Privacy Policy for who processes this data and your rights over it.
